Sing. Sing. Singapore.

Hi everyone. As you can guess from the title up there, I went to Singapore earlier this month to accompany my darling husband who wanted to watch Morissey live there. I didn't go to the concert of course as I have my little miss tagging along.

Long story short. We were there for three nights and enjoyed every bit of it although I was a little disappointed for not being able to shop anything for myself other than food! Yes, you heard that right! I am almost 4 months plus pregnant and trying to get some nice maternity clothing particularly the bras but unfortunately, little miss just was too extra clingy to be away from me. She knows another little one is coming soon I guess! Hehehe!

Apart from just wandering around aimlessly (which I love the most with my 2 darlings), we tried the Gymboree class in Singapore for Chempaka Naura. Since we are entitled for 2 free classes, we decided to give it a go. Not to my surprise, the standard of teaching there are far better than the one we attended in Malaysia. The little ones plus Mommies and Daddies are required to sanitised their hands before they are allowed at the play area. On top of that, everyone had their temperature checked before the class(yup, that includes Mom and Dad, not only kids!)

Teachers there were more organised and enthusiastic when dealing with the kids. They danced and explained every single activities done during the class. Not that I'm complaining about Gymboree Malaysia. However, there are rooms for improvement. Perhaps, the teachers could get better training in future. Oh! I'm yet to try other Gymboree at some other countries in future if time permits.

As always, there are some snapshots wherever we go and enjoy it.

I love them both so so much.

Can't wait for June holiday, my love. Fast forward June....

Trying to doze a little on flight.

Posing while little miss is still sleeping.

One with all of us. Oops! Can't really see little miss there.

Singapore from up above. Look at the glorious clouds.
Lovely sunny day ahead.

I had to eat some chocolate pistachio cake after flight (post vomit syndrome).

Notice the post vomit face. A little pale than during flight. still smiling with little miss.

If only she could pose this way every time we try to get her photos snapped. *sigh*

View from our room. Lovely!

One shot at the Chimes.

At Gymboree Harbourfront Centre, Singapore.

The lay-out is a little smaller than the one in Tropicana City Mall.
Me and Chempaka lazing around before class starts.

Chilling at Vivo City rooftop. It was sunny and beautiful.

Dessert after late lunch and spot that ice-cream all around her lips.

Do we look alike? I can't tell. Hehe!

There you have it. Our short trip to the land of Singapore. Till we meet again next time.

Still can't wait for June... Fast forward again June!

Short getaway.

My husband celebrated his 39th birthday last week on 25th of April. I had something nice planned for him on that special day. A short getaway to Port Dickson. It was splendid indeed. We stayed at the Grand Lexis, formerly known as The Legend International Water Homes for two nights. The place is beautiful, well I can't expect any crystal clear sea water there like in Male or Bora Bora Island but it's decent enough for us. Everything went well, accommodation, food glorious food within reach, a little shopping in PD town (I know! It's unbelievable! Shopping? In PD? Seriously!). We had such lovely time. Perhaps, if I may say I was happy with the place but maybe a little improvement on the customer service as well as the cleanliness of the room which we stayed that day. Given the 5-star rating by most travellers, we found that we were a bit disappointed with those two areas mentioned before. The reception ladies didn't really make us feel the five-star customer service. Worst of all, when we got into our room, we found a used box left near the plunge pool. Perhaps, they should double check the rooms next time before letting the customers in. It wouldn't be nice for customers to see rubbish all around the room. Cleanliness is priority! Don't you think so? We'd love to come back in future with hope to see some improvements especially on those areas.

Here are some snapshots on those days there. Plus, my husband was trying on his newly bought camera. *rolling my eyes now*. Enjoy!

Parking lots at The Grand Lexis, Port Dickson. Yup, that's my Saga there.

The entrance to our room. We stayed at the Garden Deluxe Suite.

Little miss impatiently climbing towards the big light ball.

The comfy and cosy beds.

The plunge pool. Bliss!

The used box left near the pool. Poor housekeeping!

Chempaka Naura with Papa swimming non-stop. 3 times a day!

Taking a rest after a long swim with Mama and Papa! So well-behaved (something I wish she does this everyday at home, with me! Dream on, Mama!)

Children's pool.

    Playground. Look who's climbing?

Some other water villas around the area. Lovely they are. Till we meet again.

Curious little miss waiting for dinner with Elmito.

Oops! I forgot to take our picture together there. Oh yes, with little miss running around, I just forgot. Love you all. Can't wait for our next holiday in May and June. Ho Ho Holidayssss!

Goodbye Mama...

Salam everyone. I know it has been a long time I didn't post anything on my blog. I was busy and also saddened by the loss of my mother on 26th of February 2012. May Allah bless her soul and Al-Fatihah for her. I don't know what to write here because I believe that words can never describe how I feel deep inside my heart. All that I know, regardless what ever it is, I love her and I miss her and I know she's in better place now. She knows that I love her and I know she loves me too. It's never easy to say goodbye even when we are prepared for it, but a goodbye is a goodbye.

Goodbye Mama...I love you so much.

Some photos for memories... I hope I've made you a proud mom for who I am now. You'll be missed. Always and forever.

Europe 2011.

Hi everyone, salam to all of you. I know I took such a long break and not updating this tiny blog of mine, sorry about that. I was too hectic with oh so many things, myself, my baby girl, my husband, my Mom, my brother, my holidays and the list can go and on and on. Anyway, I wanted to write about my previous trip to Europe. It was the shortest trip ever but we managed to cover 5 countries in 2 days (it's unbelievably true!)

There were four of us, my husband Shafiz, my brother Hairul, Baby Chempaka Naura and myself. We departed on the 25th of December 2011, on Christmas Day itself and arrived safely on the following day.
We didn't really plan on what to do there but we had a rough idea on where to go and so forth.

So, there you go. Our Euro trip covering 5 countries in 2 days. Crazy best it was although it was a really short trip. Thank you my love for everything. All these wouldn't happen without you. We love you so much.

Some shots during our stay there, all over the place. Do enjoy.

Waiting to depart ex-KUL.

So, there you have it. Hope you guys enjoy it. Till my next trip or more of next blog update. Adios.
