I rarely write on my blog nowadays due to hectic schedule, running errands and other things. When I've the time to write in which is usually in the middle of the night, I would probably too tired or uninspired. However, today I feel like writing this as a reminder to myself.
I lost my Mama is February 2012, just a day after I broke the news to her that I am pregnant with my second child. My Mama was already sick, going in and out of the hospital for a few years before that. I love my Mama dearly but a lot of times I just don't understand the love and relationship that I have with her. I have seen other mother and daughter relationship and sometimes envious of them because my Mama isn't like 'other mother'. I started feeling grumpy complained to myself why is my Mama 'like that'?
The one question that no one can answer me, not even God! My Mama is just like that! As simple as it sounds. My Mama provided shelter, food, education, love and everything she could in my life. We fought and argued almost all the time and sometimes for the pettiest issue but now it is all gone.
I felt bad for feeling envious of other people's mother when the fact that my Mama was just the perfect mother for me. She taught me how to be independent and trustworthy when she allowed me to help her run her small food business. She pushed me to be tough and strong when someone tried to disturb and bring me down. She drove me to believe that I could be great debater, poet and writer. Even though I felt annoyed by her possessiveness, but I still feel responsible to call her and let her know wherever I am. I still cooked and fed her during her stay in hospital even though she said she hated my cooking. I was so persistent to check on her well being despite her hurting me with her words that broke my heart and crushed my soul. How she hated all my previous boyfriends and made a drama out of it so that I would leave them. She mentioned before that I am too fussy, meticulous, bossy and stubborn and she herself was just the same.
Above all, she was just being her, a mother!
All those nagging, yelling, shouting, complaining, playing, educating, are actually to prove that she loves me. Those years of hardship at 'pasar malam', O & S coffee shop are well paid off after seeing me all grown up as a responsible, mature and independent young lady.
She was contented to see me married to a respectful and decent man and enjoyed the company of my Chempaka before she left us. I am certainly sure she is so happy to see me and my family now wherever she is now.
I don't wish my Mama was like any other mother because I accepted her just the way she is.
I know even better, I understand even more because I am now a mother to my 2 beautiful angels, Chempaka Naura and Melur Maira.
Happy Mother's Day to all Mothers. May we have the chance to share our happiness and sadness with our children and mend and strengthen our bonds together.
Love and peace to all.
I do miss you Mama. Al-Fatihah.

Our first Disneyland Adventure.
I know this is so last year post but I insist on blogging about it. As you can read from the title above, it was our first trip to Disneyland and we started our first adventure of that fairy tale journey in Hong Kong. Firstly, it is the nearest Disneyland from our home country Malaysia, flight time is less than 4 hours (so we can still manage the girls tantrum and crankiness within that amount of period!). Secondly, it was during school holidays, so my brother tagged along as my most reliable babysitter. Thirdly, that's the only time my husband managed to get some time off despite his hectic work schedule. Last but not least, the obsession of my eldest with Disney Princesses and the fondness of my youngest to Mickey and Minnie Mouse. So, fair enough that we (as in me and my girls) have never been to any Disneyland and we decided to try the one in Hong Kong as a start.
Preparation journey to the happiest place on earth were fine despite some passport issues 2 days before we left KL. Though there were some problems with the seat at the beginning of the flight but thank God we arrived Hong Kong safely by noon. We spent the first day resting and lazing around as we were dead tired from the early morning flight before.
On day 2, we started our Disneyland adventure at 10-ish. Took a shuttle to Tung Chung town and train to Disneyland. My girls were all dolled up according to their choice of 'Princess' costume. Chempaka is Princess Belle and Melur is Snow White. And we were all excited to watch our girls' reaction when we arrive there, beaming with smile and joy and happiness.
The park was quite full with adults and children (Duh!! It's Disneyland!) mainly because we went there on Sunday. So, it was flooded with foreign tourist plus the local ones too. Honestly, I love the vibe there. I always love theme park. It is happy to see other happy faces. Although there were some craziness surrounding there but come on! It's a theme park. There will be some craziness in there!
So, I shall spoil you all with the photos from there. Here we go!

Thank you to my dearest husband for taking some time off to bring us especially our girls to the magical world of Disneyland. And thank you and sorry for the hassle that we had to through prior departure. The passport and seat etc.. Thank you to my Dad for making time to help us in every possible way. Thank you Hairul for being the best babysitter when I am not the best mother. Thank you for your patience and I admire the way you handle the girls when they're so mischievous. I know that you are a great uncle to them and InsyaAllah, superbly fun Dad to your kids in future.
I love all of you so much. Pardon me for my nagging, complaining, scolding etc. Above all, we did enjoy the lovely trip.
More holidays please InsyaAllah!! WooHoo!!

Happy 1st Halloween Birthday Melur Maira.
Melur Maira turned 1 on 31st October 2013. We had a small party at our place with a Halloween theme. I won't elaborate more and let the photos do the talking. I hope she enjoyed it so much even though it was just a simple gathering. Mama and Papa loves you Melur Maira.

Hi 5 Live in KL 2013
5 in the air, let's do it together. HI 5!
Hohoho Hi 5 was in KL for their live concert in December 2013. I was superrrr excited this time because I get to bring both Chempaka and Melur to watch it together. This would be our second Hi 5 concert in KL. We went to the first one in 2012 when I was heavily pregnant with Melur.
The show was awesome and great as I expected. There are 2 new members replacing Tim and Casey. They're Mary and Ainsley. They are just as enthusiastic and cheery as the other three, Dayen, Lauren and Stevie. However, I still do miss Tim and Casey and of course Fely.
The show that I went started later than the appointed time. Some children were restless and agitated waiting for the show to begin. The management didn't make any announcement to inform the parents on what's going on. Unfortunately, I am sad to say that there were some parents over reacted on that situation and started to behave like hooligans. Or shall I say like uncivilised human beings. Well, somehow the management opened up the doors and let us in after approximately 15-20 minutes delay.
As we waited for the concert to start, I came across some irresponsible parents who ( I believed!) bought the cheaper tickets but they dare to let their kids stand at the mosh pit area ( mind you, mosh pit area ticket is the MOST EXPENSIVE one!) while these IMPRUDENT parents will try to find any empty seats around to keep an eye on their children!
A mother of two girls and I had an argument with one INSOLENT father who did what I mentioned above and he was unhappy with us and started scolding us using vulgar words! All the F*** word came out of his mouth in front of other parents and hundreds of innocent children. The worst part was, he brought along his sick and coughing and sneezing (non-stop) wife to the children's concert. I can't imagine what sort of person is that couple. To disgrace themselves that way and rude and disrespectful to other parents. They have become totally insane by behaving like that not only in public but to their own children. One should sit or be at the assigned seat, according to the ticket that you bought (regardless of any price or amount!!!) so that you don't trouble others with your uncivilised and audaciously rude manner. I wasn't surprise that it happened at that Hi 5 concert but I surely learned my lesson from it. Thank you Mr.Rude Man!
Enough of the negativity of the show that is not even done by the Hi 5 members but the miserable parents themselves. Shame on you people....BOOOOO!!!! The show was spectacular and my girls enjoyed it so much that I hope to go again in future.
Well done Hi 5. You never disappointed us with your show. It's just this time the concert is more of promoting the new Hi 5 House and introducing the newest members. Personally, I still love Hi 5 Holiday because it has a storyline that you can relate to and the songs that come with it actually helps you to understand the journey of the holiday itself. Anyway, KUDOS to the Hi 5 members for putting on an incredible show! Thank you to the management for bringing Hi 5 to KL! Despite all the things that happened before the show, I will still bring my girls again next time Hi 5 in KL!
Some photos to share with you guys...

Disney Live!
Okay, sorry for the long delay of updating my blog. I have been very tied up with so many things and my poor time management didn't really help either. Hence, the absence of me blogging.
Anyway, a couple of months ago we went to watch Disney Magic Live in KL.
And may I say the show was MAGICAL! We truly enjoyed every part of it. Well, I only brought Little Miss Chempaka. Melur had to attend her play class on that day.
We only managed to snap few photos. But lovely indeed!!

As you can see, my eldest girl is soooooo into Disney Princesses now. Hence we had to bring her to the show. Also, Disneyland. Well, I'll blog all about it soon I hope.
I love to see her eyes sparkling with joy and happiness. Next time around, Melur is tagging along!
Oh my! The trio who captured my heart entirely for life.
Thank you for making my life more colourful than usual!
I love all of you so much!
