Celebration of love and happiness.

Salam to all. After a whole year of absence from the cyber world, I decided to write something on my blog. So many things to share and yet I don't know where to start..hmmm..

First of all, Alhamdullillah we've moved in to our own home. It took a year of renovation and a lot of determination, patience and checking on my contractors whenever Shafiz is not around (it's a must thing to do if you're doing any renovation for your home!)...hehe!
House is a necessity and we are trying our best to make our girls feel at home. It is kid-friendly and full of toys and happiness. Girls love the house and are excited the most. So, it is normal to see our new house like a kindergaten or OURWL HOUSE as what my Chempaka will call it because she just can't pronounce 'our' at the beginning.
Still in the midst of decorating it and I am the lousiest when it comes to that..too many colours and everything is all over the place.
I love the most is of course the lovely spacious garden..I did some gardening back in the years with my late Ma so it wasn't too hard for me and my Mom-in-law is so into flowers and plants and gardens, so it was easy for me when she decided to help me in that area..Lucky me!

Before we left our old neighbourhood, we had a farewell meet up with all of them. I almost cried that I had to leave all the amazing people who had helped us in so many ways. Mainly giving us comfort and assurance when things are not okay especially when I needed some advise in so many areas.
To Aunty Koh and Aunty Betty, you both have been like a second mother to me. The kindness and care that you showed me were immensely appreciated.
Aunty Mei and family, thank you for all the play dates my girls had with your granddaughters. I am pretty sure the girls enjoyed every bit of it and missing it now.
Uncle Phillip, thank you for all the silly jokes which sometimes I just didn't get it.
To my next door neighbour Cheng and family, thanks to Bibi and Lucky for the safety of our house then..haha! I am so missing my old neighbours...
I hope my new neighbours are just as great as my old ones...

Right after we moved in to or new home, my husband thought that all of us needed a break and getaway and off we went to Amsterdam. It was kind of last minute but all worth it despite it was a very short one. Well, we had like 5 nights but with travelling and the girls it was pretty exhausting.
We had fun indeed. We stayed in Zaandam for 3 nights, not Amsterdam city and next 2 nights in a dairy farm. A quaint cottage and a whole new experience for the girls especially.
We're more of beach gals and it was really cold there, so it was something different for them and don't let me start with the annoyance of them refusing to wear warm clothing..LOL!
Thank you my love for all the effort and beautiful memories. And not forgetting my reliable babysitter brother Hairul, you are amazing as always. Thank you all.
Sorry Chempaka and Melur because Mama got so caught up with so many things that led to more meltdowns. Forgive me please..

April is birthday month for Shafiz, my darling husband. We had dinner with the girls and Mak. We hope that you enjoyed it so much, the dinner treat and 1 day getaway to Port Dickson. So, as I have mentioned above, we're more of beach gals so we headed there for sunny beachy holiday..Thank you for your time my love.

Come what MAY...May is the month full of celebrations.
Happy Mother's Day to all the Moms. I am blessed to have the opportunity to celebrate it with my crazy annoyingly gorgeous daughters and best Mom-in-law one can ever ask. Thank you for the cards my love and girls. It is always thoughtful of you my love to give me one every year. I am all teary and all every time I received them from you and the girls. I love you and the girls sangatttlah gila gula guli..

Today is 31st May marked our 7th year of marriage. It still gives me butterflies in my stomach every time I think of today and the time we were both preparing in the morning for the akad nikah. I am already in tears when I hit the buttons writing this..

Thank you for being there for me.
Thank you for being the husband.
Thank you for being my shoulder to cry on even when I am so stubborn.
My best life-long companion who knows me inside out.
My best friend who listens to my stories and sometimes don't understand a thing about it.
The best father to my children..The one who knows how to calm us down when we get into fights especially between me and Chempaka..
Please know this my love,
I admire you in every single way,
Everything about you, honestly.
I am so sorry if I am lacking in any way.
Thank you and thank you and thank you and I can't thank you enough.
Alhamdullilah and thank you Allah for letting me be his wife.
I am humbled in so many ways.
May Allah grant us happiness and His blessings for many years come together, InsyaAllah.
Thank you my love for putting up with my nonsense all these years.
I hope you still can tahan being my concert buddy as I am to you.
Thank you tau... for everything.
I love you always and forever.
