We human beings are so spoilt with preferences and choices. That is one of the reasons why we are so distinctive and unique than any other creatures. We have options that were determined by our preferences in so many things in our lives.
A couple of weeks ago I had a conversation about travelling and holidays with my husband. As you can see from my previous posts, there were numerous stories about us travelling and how much we both enjoy that sooooo much! Okay, let's get back to the real story. Hahaha!
We talked about places to travel, activities during that stay and so many things. We talked and talked and realised that we enjoy travelling places, food and many more. Then it made us wonder about others who love to travel for various other reasons like shopping, hiking, diving and the lists go on and on and on.
It's just a simple conclusion for these. Preference! Every individual has their own personal preferences regarding everything. And that include, travelling! We shall never condemn other people whose interest against ours and that we shall respect their choices or preferences.
There are some people who loves to go on a shopping spree during their holidays. Cities like Paris, London, Milan, New York offers a lot of great bargain especially branded goods, so I think those who love shopping for these items deserve to splurge on whatever they wish to buy.
Some enjoy exploring the nature at its best. Countries like Nepal, China, New Zealand, The USA, Canada and a few others offer one of the best hiking and mount climbing spots in the world. So those who are adventurous will definitely enjoy all these places. Me, not so brave enough especially anything to do with heights. I admit that I am an acrophobic ( I guess those flying years didn't really help me any way!)
Diving in Maldives, Mauritius, Manado or even our own Mabul Island in Sabah are great for those who enjoy being nibbled by the fishes. Haha! Just kidding. These places are divinely gorgeous with incredibly amazing marine life and coral reef. And guess what? I am afraid of fishes in the sea. So, I will just enjoy the breathtaking view of the ocean without dipping myself in it.
Theme parks are so fun! I love them so much but I don't know why that I am so freaked out when it comes to roller coasters these days. I guess I am a coasterphobic now. But I know my husband loves it so much. I guess that I just don't have the guts nowadays.
Okay, enough of descriptions of all these places and what to do and yada yada yada.
It is just preferences. So, we shall not judge others by places they love to go, things they love to do during holidays, or places they've never been before just because we've been there and done that.
It is all a matter of PREFERENCES. Go figure yourself.
So, please stop talking about how other people suppose to travel or choose the 'right' destination for them because we should be the one looking at ourselves and do what we like best without being nosy about other people's affairs. Enjoy your holidays folks!
